Trigger Point

A trigger point is one (or more) irritated point which looks like a “knot” or “rubber”. Its characteristic is that it can trigger symptoms on a wider (than its size) area. The most common massaging method is ischaemic pressure on the trigger point using the elbow or the fingers.

This treatment is not recommended to:

  • Patients with serious osteoporosis
  • Patients who undergo anti-thrombosis treatment
  • Patients with thrombosis or varicose veins
  • Patients with malignant tumours
  • Patients with skin issues or open wounds

Duration of treatment: 60', 90'
